Subdivision Review

The McHenry County Board adopted the McHenry County Subdivision Ordinance on March 19, 1991. This publication is available for download on this page or in person at the McHenry County Department of Planning & Development.

Staff Plat Review Committee

The Staff Plat Review Committee, as established by the Subdivision Ordinance, reviews all plats. The Staff Plat Review Committee normally meets at least twice a month (as needed) on a regular basis to consider sketches, plats, drawings and reports. The Department of Planning & Development is responsible for coordinating the process, arranging meeting dates and times, and reporting to the Planning & Development Committee on the results of the Staff Plat Review Committee meetings.
