Convicted Sex Offender Sentenced to Nine Years

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Mario Morales, 39, formerly of Harvard, Illinois was sentenced to nine years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offenses of Criminal Sexual Assault and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.  The defendant was found guilty of committing acts of sexual penetration and sexual conduct against a family member after a bench trial before the Hon. Judge M. Feeterer.

This case was investigated by the Harvard Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Kate Lenhard.
